Hey, I’m Rosie! I am a strategy consultant from Alberta, Canada. I provide smart, savvy women with advice on their goals and future direction so that they can plan effective strategies for growth, whether it’s personal or business-related. I’ve been featured on Annette’s Rochelle Aben’s radio show “Perspectivepower” and ceoMom’s. When I am not blogging, you’ll find you me drinking coffee, making popcorn and hanging out with my two daughters. If I can follow my dreams, you can too!

  1. Hi Rosie, I remember you fondly as you reviewed my debut novel, A Cry From The Deep. I’ve since written a novelette, and am in the process of getting another novel out. I blog regularly about books, life, inspiration, films, kind of whatever is on my mind. I’d love more visitors. Thanks for the opportunity. Hugs,
    Diana

  3. Thank you for the opportunity to post my blog on your site. My blog is all about inspiration. I am a mixed media artist and dabble in fiber arts as well. Most importantly I am a new author of a memoir. My book is called Our Special a child: Jason’s a story. I told the story of our life with my son who had spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. I welcome all visitors and hopefully followers at http://www.scrapperjudedesigns.net

  7. What a wonderful idea and thank you so much for hosting this, Rosie. I’ve just tweeted the details as well 🙂

I’m Hugh and I have dyslexia. However, I don’t let that put me off from writing. I live on the south coast of the UK and write about this, that, and everything else. I’d love to meet some new bloggers so please come and say hello.

  9. Hi–I came over from “Chris the Story Reading Ape”‘s blog–your entry was reblogged on that page. I have gone through and Followed everyone–at least where the “Follow” instructions were blatantly obvious. I have two blogs, one for book reviews and one for my author me, K.R. Morrison. I am currently spending more time participating in blog tours than in my own writing; too much going on with editing and a life beyond the computer (gasp!). Anyway–enough blather. My book review blog is http://kathyree.wordpress.com/, and my author blog is http://krmorrison325.wordpress.com/

  11. Very generous of you to invite bloggers like this. Thanks.

My blog is at https://theopeningsentence.wordpress.com and covers reviews of film, television, music, offers crackpot articles about anything I can’t ignore, and shamelessly plugs my novels about the ‘dead’ rock band Toten Herzen.

There’s also an author invite at the moment to anyone who has written about a ‘mysterious location.’

    Chris

Good luck with your first novel, Bette. I just self-published my debut novel in Oct. 2014, and it’s been quite the ride. I visited your blog and love that your writing is inspired by “nature and human nature”. I wanted to leave a comment but couldn’t find where to do that. All the best

  13. Thanks so much for being kind enough to share this. Much appreciated. My blog is about my writing (crime/mystery and now and again other genres) and anything else which takes my fancy including my visits to cool places, and photography. Many other writers visit and we have lots of fun too. http://wp.me/2dg55 – do visit and leave me your links too. 🙂

  15. I suppose my blog is, in food analogy terms, a fruit and nut stall run by a home loving, dog walking meliorist. It is unlikely to offend or make much sense. It is a place of legal highs and a few lows, most of which are made by the cows coming home for milking. http://geofflepard.com/

  17. What a lovely idea, Rosie! My blog covers my writing challenges, book and film reviews, inspiration and personal thoughts on family and life, including dreams. I have an eclectic background, having not only worked as a family therapist for 25 years, but also as an actress, teacher, TV broadcaster, writer, and more, so I draw on all of that. Thanks for the opportunity. http://www.dianastevan.com

  21. Hi Rosie,

What a generous soul you are!

I have so many things to walk about I have two blogs, which I hope you and your readers will enjoy:

https://liveandworkathome.wordpress.com/ is where I talk about what it’s really like to blend work and family.

At https://verbaldreaming.wordpress.com/ I play with words, and often write about writing – and not writing!

Thanks for this opportunity; I came over from the Story-reading Ape and look forward to reading more of your work.

    • Another reader from Story-reading Ape, please tell Chris I say hi! As a single mom, I have often thought about what would happen if I met someone and they had kids…we become a blended family. Looking forward to reading your posts Liz. 🙂

  23. Thanks Rosie, heres the link to my blog – http://havewehadhelp.wordpress.com/. As a full time writer, I’m kept busy with my books. However, I use my blog and its automatic links to Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Google+, Stumbleupon, Pinterest and my author’s page on Amazon to make my readers fully aware. However, yet another link never goes amiss does it? 😉

  27. Hi Rosie!
This is a wonderful opportunity you’re giving new bloggers 🙂 As a debut author I’m finding it difficult to grow my readership for my blog and catch the eye of new readers (who aren’t related to me!). My site is http://mjmoores. I write sci-fi/fantasy double crossover – what’s that mean? Well, I tend to write speculative fiction and that means I blur the lines between the main genres of sci-fi, fantasy and horror. As well, I write for YA/Crossover readers: those people who like reading about 18 – 25 year olds but aren’t particularly attracted to the New Adult (romance) genre that targets the same age range… I’m all about the adventure, personal journeys and finding yourself 😀

  29. How wonderful for you to do this. I have a fairly new blog and am trying hard to build my community. My blog is random. I have shared quotes, written about growing up, posted some of my cross stitch projects and address other topics that strike my fancy.

    Good Woman https://helizabeth1952.wordpress.com/

I hope people will check out my blog. I intend to visit the blogs of people who have chosen to add their blogs here.

  37. Thank you so very much for the opportunity! I write about daily observations (aka life as a working mom with two small kids and an entrepreneurial hubby), leadership, positive thinking, motivation, and things I have experienced along the way as an indie author. Sometimes, I’ve been told, I am even funny. My site is http://www.alliepottswrites.com

  39. What a great way to meet other bloggers – and to help them discover each other. I write ‘flashes of life.’ I like to share what I see (with humor, most times, ha ha) in my world. http://roughwighting.net/ I also love showing off the romantic suspense books I’ve written – my blog followers are loyal readers. Welcome to the blogging world!.

    • Isn’t it great to have loyal readers? I did my first reader survey a few weeks ago, I was totally surprised how devoted they were to my blog. You can’t really judge my comments that are left…thanks for stopping by….and now following you. P.S. I like the spin on your blog title “Rough Wighting”

    • Thank you, seems like a lot of folks like the header! I either use picmonkey or canva for the graphics I use on my blog. I’m creative person, and used to scrapbook and even taught it for a few years. I had even considered opening up a scrapbooking store but the bank told me that it would never be successful. That’s one thing I wish I pursued

      • I’ve heard about picmonkey from other blogs but haven’t looked it up to have a play with it yet. That would have been fantastic teaching scrapbooking. I enjoy going to classes and retreats. I would love to own a scrapbooking shop too but unfortunately there have been quite a few who have had to close down. There is a large one about 15 mins from me and it is thriving so I hope it will be there for many many years. Perhaps you could still open one up??

        • At the moment, no want to open a retail store. I recently ended my consulting business. One day, I’ll write about the business idea of opening a scrapbooking store. I got into it just before it became really popular – roughly 12 years ago.
