Reader Survey Says

Reader Survey Says via

A couple of weeks ago, I had posted my first reader survey for Everything’s Coming Up Rosie. I really wasn’t expecting much of a response, but I have to admit, it was a lot of fun reading all your comments, and suggestions!!

There were some responses that I wasn’t expecting but it totally made me rethink what type of posts that you’d like to read about. Honestly, it was a cool experience and I do appreciate the time you took to participate in the survey.

I analyzed the information from the survey and created my very FIRST infographic using Picktochart. (If I had a little more time, I could have spruced it up a little more.) If you haven’t heard of it before, Piktochart is an easy infographic design app that requires very little effort to produce beautiful, high quality graphics. You can make your own infographics here.

At the bottom of this infographic, I’ll share what I’ve learned and what types of changes you’ll see over the next little bit.

Suggestion# 1 Facebook

I was quite surprised how many found me on Facebook and how many would like me to continue posting on Facebook. At the moment, I only post on my personal profile, I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll create a page. Having been a social media consultant, Facebook has its own algorithms and unless you have a ton of followers, it’s just not worth having a Facebook page anymore. BUT, I’ll think about it!

Suggestion# 2 Instagram

Another surprise! I have heard of bloggers using Instagram to gain followers or post their newest news on this site. To be honest, I don’t know a whole lot about it. I have an account, but haven’t used it a whole lot. That being said, after reading your comments, I decided to try it and out and have found that I am getting a few more followers. SO, if you are on Instagram, feel free to connect with me!

Suggestion# 3 Social Issues

There was a trend on what type of blog topics that you’d like me to address, and that would be writing about social issues. If you know me, I’ve worked with aboriginal communities, currently working with adults with disabilities and shocker…a woman! ;)I might know a thing or two about challenges that these three groups are facing.  I have always been a big believer in change, so it’s certainly a possibility that I will write more on these topics.

Things That Made Me Go WOW# 1!!

Every day?!!! You are some of the most loyal readers and I want to thank you. I started this blog as a way to motivate myself, never did I think that others would want to hear what I had to share. The fact that you come back and are always checking out the latest post, has me near tears and full of humility.

Things That Made Me Go Wow# 2!!!

I seriously can’t begin to put into words how I feel. At the bottom of the survey, you were asked “Why do you read Everything’s Coming Up Rosie?” Here are my top fav comments:

  • Love catching up on what is going on in your life and the great information you post!
  • It’s fun
  • Because of you, Rosie! 🙂
  • Food for thought
  • I find it to be a valuable reminder of things that are important for being a good human being and very insightful.
  • I enjoy human interest
  • Because I like staying connected with what’s going on in your life since I only really know you from Twitter. You can’t fit a lot of current life stuff in 140 characters, so the blog is a great extension of your social media presence.

This blog is all about how people can come together, learn from one another and maybe have a laugh or two along the way. I write to motivate myself and encourage others to follow their dreams. May we continue to learn from each other and build each other up – for we are all meant for greatness!!
