How To Program Your Mind For Success

TEDx Talk with Carrie Green

I am a huge Ted Talks fan and when I came across this TEDx Talk with Carrie Green, I instantly knew that I had to share it with you! She shares her story of when she started to question everything she was doing. She would doubt herself,  she would talk herself out of testing new ideas, because somewhere along the way she lost her self-belief. She  battled with herself for such a long time until she finally figured out what she needed to do. And in this video, she shares how to program your mind for success.

TEDX Video – Carrie Green

In this YouTube video, Carries shares that  if you want to be successful you have to program your mind for success. She realized that the biggest thing holding her back from achieving the things she wanted to achieve was herself. So she went on a little mission to learn how to stop holding herself back by programming her mind for success and it had such a huge impact on her.

Near the end of the presentation, Carrie shares with us “Success is no accident. Living an incredible life is no accident. You have to do it on purpose and it starts knowing exactly what you want to achieve. Knowing why you want to achieve it. Knowing the kind of person that you need to become in order to make it happen. And then programming your mind to make it happen.”

  1. I pinned and stumbled this so that I can listen to it later. Life is so busy right now that I know where I want to go, but the pieces I’m able to accomplish to get there are smaller than I like. I would love to have the inspiration to know that although I can’t finish everything all right now that I have the tools to get there. Thanks so much, checking out the online magazine too!

    • I totally understand what it’s like to have so many things on the go. Hopefully, things will slow down for you soon that you’re able to catch up. I’ve been behind on commenting back on this blog. It’s something that I really need to work on. Happy to have you here though!

  2. Amazing! I definitely hold myself back, or my anxiety does. It has become a cycle lately that I hate and I need to make changes, I have been making changes. It is really hard when you are naturally an anxious person and overthinker to maintain positivity, but my blog has become such a great outlet for me for that. It helps me keep positive and I love looking back at how far I have come. It’s also hard to program your mind for success when you don’t know what you want to do, which is my problem! Lol

    • I deal with anxiety as week, Shannon. At times, it can get the better of me. For myself, I allow myself to feel how I feel for a day and the next is about moving on and doing what I need to do to move forward. Congrats on blogging and knowing that is your outlet…keep it up!

  3. First of all, I’m loving the look of your blog Rosie! Stunning. Secondly, thank you for sharing this talk. I’ve not watched it yet but I’ve bookmarked it.
