Hello Friday!

It’s Good Friday!

How was your week? Did you make it through?

Mine was bit of a roller coaster. Although, my work is quite rewarding, at times, it can be quite arduous. If you’re new here, I am a Job Developer for a non-profit organization. I meet with employers and encourage them to be more inclusive towards individuals with disabilities. My Monday morning started off by working with a challenging individual and continued the rest of the week.

On top of work, my 11 yr old had her outdoor soccer tryouts. This was her first time trying out for a competitive league. The first night we arrived, a coach had told us that she didn’t think LO would have any troubles making the team. Last night, we found out that she made the team, Lo is elated to say the least.

Thought I’d share a few blog posts that I enjoyed reading this past week:

Last but not least, 3 women in a car lip sync 7 decades of music. You might remember SketchSHE from this fabulous Bohemian Rhapsody lip sync. Let the head-bobbing commence!

Hey, I’m Rosie! I am a strategy consultant from Alberta, Canada. I provide smart, savvy women with advice on their goals and future direction so that they can plan effective strategies for growth, whether it’s personal or business-related. I’ve been featured on Annette’s Rochelle Aben’s radio show “Perspectivepower” and ceoMom’s. When I am not blogging, you’ll find you me drinking coffee, making popcorn and hanging out with my two daughters. If I can follow my dreams, you can too!

  1. Hope you have a fantastic Easter weekend!

I had a pretty good week; I got to hold a real live Barn Owl on Thursday, and have been gathering titles of books I either can’t remember reading but knew about as a child/teenager, or I never knew about but others are recommending. My “to read” list on Goodreads is growing… Good thing I read a lot, so have a chance of putting a decent dent in it, LOL!
