Good morning lovelies!

Annual Family Day at Fort Whoop Up
Annual Family Day at Fort Whoop Up

It’s Family Day here in Alberta.

Family Day is always the third Monday in February. It was originally created to give people time to spend with their families. Later this morning, I’ll be taking my girls to see Fort Whoop Up National Historical Site.

I’m a big believer in maintaining a positive outlook on life but every now and then I definitely need to be reminded to think positive and keep my chin up.

From one of the Best TV series, here’s today’s Monday Motivation:

To put the quote into context, a little background on the show “Breaking Bad“:

Mild-mannered high school chemistry teacher Walter White thinks his life can’t get much worse. His salary barely makes ends meet, a situation not likely to improve once his pregnant wife gives birth, and their teenage son is battling cerebral palsy. But Walter is dumbstruck when he learns he has terminal cancer. Realizing that his illness probably will ruin his family financially, Walter makes a desperate bid to earn as much money as he can in the time he has left by turning an old RV into a meth lab on wheels.

Granted, today’s motivation comes from a meth lord, but still…it’s  a great piece of advice. Too often, we are scared of the unknown. It’s our fears that prevent us from trying to move forward.

Change can be scary, but you know what’s scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving, and progressing.

Have a fabulous fearless week!
