Discover The Invisible Forces That Motivate Your Actions

Website Update

I am trusting that you’re able to see and read this post. In today’s post, I am sharing one of the top 20, most popular Ted Talks of all time “Why We do What We Do” by Tony Robbins. He explains how we can discover the invisible forces that motivate your actions.

But first:

The last couple of days, I have been working hard to move my wordpress.com website to a self-hosted site. It’s something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time and was never really sure when the “right time” would be. The other night, at 9 pm, I decided that I would just do it!

If I am going to take the plunge then I need to stop making excuses and take a risk.

Can I tell you that I thought that this process would be easy? I am not the person with the most technical skills but I can understand how the back end of a website works.

I have created blogs from scratch. I have used a few different blogging platforms. I have used both wordpress.com and wordpress.org and would never have thought that it would be this difficult to move the site over. Thank goodness, Bluehost has some really awesome tech support staff that have been able to help me through the process.

If you can see this post, please take a look around the new site. I am open to feedback and would love to hear your thoughts. As I was re-designing the website, I knew that I wanted a more clean, fresh look to it. Over the next week or so, I will re-tweak a few things. So, you might notice a few changes.

I noticed as soon as I clicked through that the site looked different. It is clean and easy on the eyes, can’t wait to see what you tweak! I didn’t have to switch my blog myself, so I’m not sure how hard it is, but I can appreciate that it was not easy. I just changed hosts recently and that was more involved than I ever thought. I’m glad I did it, but it was scary! LOL

I’m definitely going to check out this TED talk, and I would love to see a list of the top 20 so that I could go from one to another. I love listening to motivational talks as I work or paint. Or drive. This is on the list to be listened to soon. I’ve pinned and stumbled so I won’t lose it, thanks for sharing!

You have an excellent eye nikki! 🙂 I’ll add the link to the Top 20 Ted talks to this post. Thanks for pointing that out. 🙂
I have been self taught in graphics and web design…must be the creativity side of me. Although, at times, it can be frustrating when things do not go as planned. I had recently renewed my domain name on wordpress.com, so that became a bit of a challenge moving it over. Which host are you using now?
